Thought I'd Brag About My Family a Bit

I've been blessed with a really big family. Yes, I'm proud of them all.

My eldest daughter, Dana, now a grandmother and retired, worked for a school district as a secretary for many years--bigger job than it sounds because she worked for different people at different times, including the school psychologist. She's now happily retired and loves to travel with her husband.

Second daughter, Lisa, now a grandmother and great-grandmother, was a school bus driver for many years. Drove kids on winding mountain roads and through all kinds of weather. She's a minister's wife which means she does all sorts of jobs now. She's also the one who drives for us when we go on trips.

Our son, Mark, (dad and grandfather) who now resides in heaven, did all sorts of jobs from making doughnuts, working in hospitals, grounds keeper for a golf course, worked with the developmentally disabled in many capacities, and a forklift operator for WalMart.

Third daughter, Lori, is a mom and grandmother, recently retired from working twenty years as a church secretary.

Youngest son, Matthew, a father and grandfather, is also a Jack-of-all Trades, has worked as an electrician, bouncer, in agriculture, and earth mover and much more.

The grands are all doing great too:

An Ink maker
A speech pathologist
A pastor's wife (which means she has many jobs.)
A jewelry maker
A supervisor in a factory
A kitchen cabinet designer and consultant
Police Officer
Has done all sorts of interesting jobs with cars
Real Estate
Space Technology
Electrician
Heavy Equipment Operator
Home School Teacher

And with the greats:

Has her own hair and make-up company
High school, great basketball player
A pastor
A mom
Another Jack of all trades
Factory worker
Two in college

No doubt I've forgotten someone.

Doesn't matter, I love and I'm proud of each and everyone.

Marilyn
