Back Again!

Since I had so many guest posts, I took a short vacation from posting right here on my own blog.

However, I've been plenty busy as my latest Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery is now available thanks to my good friend, Lorna and her husband, Larry. She re-edited and saw that it got published, and her husband took care of the cover.

I've been planning events, written posts for a blog tour, and doing other on-line promotion. And I've sent out review copies of the book.

And I've also been working on the as yet unnamed next mystery in my Rocky Bluff P.D. series.

What has taken up a lot of my time is working on program designs for people who want to start new residential facilities. Since that brings in money for me to be able to do my promotion, it's important work. Plus, it's something I like doing.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
