CALLING THE DEAD by Marilyn Meredith



In Calling the Dead Deputy Tempe Crabtree calls back the dead to learn the truth about a murder and a suicide.

This was one of the harder of the series to write, namely because it focuses on murder and suicide.

And yes, Tempe learns how to call back the dead.

I have no idea if that is even possible, but it isn't something I'd recommend anyone trying.

And where did I find out about it--from a book of course. You can research anything using the library, the Internet or others sources.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special.
