A Few Tidbits About A CRUSHING DEATH



The  mode of murder came from a Facebook friend. Her message was something like this, "Why don't you have someone murdered like this"--and she went on to describe the way to do away with someone and where it came from historically. My reaction? Sure, why not.

This book is full of what I thought when I was writing it, interesting plot twists.  I enjoyed creating a strange religious cult and even stranger characters who belonged to it.

A teacher who is wrongly accused of molesting a student. 

A problem for Detective Milligan's teenaged daughter.

And of course lots more involving the ongoing characters in this series.

As always, you don't have to read the whole series as every mystery in each book is solved by the end.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special.
