The Birthday and More
Celebrating my 88th was pretty low-key, but fun. Son and his wife took me out to eat at a new Thai place--the food was way to spicy hot for me.The Thai iced tea wonderful as were the spring rolls. Had some of the Pad Thai--which was okay, but not as good as the place we usually go to. Had many phone calls--always great--then at supper, we had the most wonderful birthday cake my great-granddaughter Aleena made. And now to report on the blog tour for The Trash Harem. I truly enjoy writing the posts for all the blogs. All the hosts were prepared for the day the posts were to appear. Many people visited and made comments. And yes, books were purchased, which of course is the whole reason for the blog tour. I'm so glad I'm not indie-published because I can actually check and see how a promotion is working. Back in the day, when I was with a publisher, I never knew if my work paid off or not until the royalty checks came out long after the promotion was done, and then it really didn...
