The way I write is similar to the sausage making process.  I come up with an idea, throw everything in and then grind it up well.  Then I spend countless hours picking out the stuff that tastes yucky! I started my writing career with a cozy mystery series, THE SILVER SLEUTHS. I absolutely love mysteries and am currently working on the third installment of the series but somewhere between Classic Revenge and Deadly Policy , the idea for a romance series tickled my brain and HAMMER, NAILS, AND HAPPILY EVER AFTER? was created. I wanted to write a fun, lighthearted romance with strong characters that had personality and purpose. We were always encouraged to use our imagination, to stay active and to read anything and everything we could get our hands on. I moved to San Antonio, Texas in my late teens and eventually met my husband of 30 years. We have one terrific son and five very spoiled dogs. I started my writing career doing feature articles for magazines and soon discovered that really wasn’t what I wanted to do. True stuff was boring ! I wanted to create a world in which I had control of the characters and the drama. I used my love of creating fiction to start manuscripts in different genres: romance, mystery, drama.
