Happy New Year!


How many of you do New Year's resolutiions?

I don't but do have plans for the coming year.

#1 is to stay healthy. The end of last year was difficult with too many sick days and nights.

#2 is to continue enjoying my wonderful family.

#3 it to continue teach my Sunday School class as long as I'm able.

#4 is to finishing the last Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery.

#5 is to write an young adult mystery set during World War 2.

#6 to be able to participate in a few in-person events.

That's all I can think of at the moment, if you have plans for this new year, please share.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
