Bad Tidings #2 in the Rocky Bluff P.D. series

This is the story about delivering and receiving bad news.

And a warning--BAD TIDINGS is bloodier than most of my mysteries.

The main character and his wife were based on friends of ours--with major changes of course.
I love these two fictional characters.

The crimes were inspired by true happenings.

One scene, where the detective visits his wife long after visiting hours and no one stops him came from one time my husband and I visited a friend of his long after visting hours and we acted like we belonged there. Not a soul questioned us.

Like all my books, the ideas come from everywhere.

And of course Rocky Bluff lives on in my imagination.

I feel as though I know the town, too.
Lorna, probably because it has the ambience of many small beach towns before they became so popular.

I just finished reading Bad Tidings #2 in the Rocky Bluff P.D. series, and I couldn't resist sharing my thoughts. The plot twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! Chief Taylor's character development is truly remarkable, and the way he navigates the challenges in Rocky Bluff is both realistic and compelling. dry cleaning services

The author's ability to capture the essence of a small town police department adds a layer of authenticity to the story. The intricate web of relationships among the characters keeps the reader guessing and invested in the outcome. I appreciate how the narrative seamlessly weaves together the personal and professional lives of the officers, creating a rich tapestry of drama and suspense. web development company in Pakistan
