Bad Tidings #2 in the Rocky Bluff P.D. series



 This is the story about delivering and receiving bad news.

And a warning--BAD TIDINGS is bloodier than most of my mysteries.

The main character and his wife were based on friends of ours--with major changes of course.
I love these two fictional characters.

The crimes were inspired by true happenings.

One scene, where the detective visits his wife long after visiting hours and no one stops him came from one time my husband and I visited a friend of his long after visting hours and we acted like we belonged there. Not a soul questioned us.

Like all my books, the ideas come from everywhere.

And of course Rocky Bluff lives on in my imagination.

Lorna, probably because it has the ambience of many small beach towns before they became so popular.

I just finished reading Bad Tidings #2 in the Rocky Bluff P.D. series, and I couldn't resist sharing my thoughts. The plot twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it.
