Another Review, but this time not so good

I have a wonderful interview at http://www.mystery-books.com/, an absolutely fabulous blog--following it is a review by the host of Smell of Death. Unfortunately, he didn't much like the book.

As an author, I must accept the bad reviews along with the good--and just be thankful the writer took the time to read the book and review it. I found it interesting that he didn't think what went on with the families was realistic and that's what I feel I've done the best job with. After my many years of living, being part of a huge family, knowing so many police officers and their families, I thought I did a good job of portraying what goes on. Oh, well.

That's the way it always is though--one book will bring in all sorts of diversified reviews.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
