Kindred Spirits is Available to Order

Because I have so much planned for the debut of Kindred Spirits, I've been a nervous wreck wondering if I would really have a book on time for the events.

I've ordered 200 and certainly hope they arrive before I have to leave for my trip to Crescent City.

Kindred Spirits is about a troubled marriage, a "perfect" murder, a murder victim whose spirit won’t rest until the murderer’s identity is revealed, the genocide of the Tolowa nation, and two dangerous trips for Deputy Tempe Crabtree as she searches for answers.

My publisher has assured me that the books will be here. He's also told me that books can be ordered from him right now, either the trade paperback or the ebook.

I'd love to really make a big showing with this book. I loved learning about the Tolowa people and writing about them. Of course Tempe feels like a real person to me so I'm always glad to put her adventures down so that people can read about them.

Now on to the promotion part of being an author.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
