Public Safety Writers Conference



We are thrilled to have mystery, thriller and horror writer Simon Wood as a keynote speaker for our Public Safety Writers Conference, June 17 -20 at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas.

We have a great line-up, you can read what we've got so far at http://publicsafetywriter.com and I can tell you that there is more to come, just haven't received all the information I need as yet.

The registration form is live and you can either print out the form and sent in a check, or register on line and pay via PayPal.

There is an early bird fee that is good until October 31. If you want to bring along someone who isn't interested in the conference but would like to enjoy lunches with the group, there is a place to sign up for that too.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
