Pictures from the Family Reunion






These are just a few photos to give you an idea of what was happening at our reunion. I'll post a few more tomorrow.

The teen boy was also the teen girl at the talent show. Since he's a really macho and most athletic kid (and one of my many great grandkids) it was hilarious seeing him dance and strut around like a really cute girl.

Many worked to make this event a success. In the photo with the food is my eldest daughter and her daughter.

There were lost of water games--oldsters against the kids and the oldsters won them all.

Young kids were kept busy all the time with crafts, a Wii, and lots of activities.

So much fun to see so much family all at one time.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
