Time's Flying By

This is the last day of March--unbelievable. Time is scurrying by so fast I can hardly keep up.

Every day has been so busy. I never understand people who say they are bored. I don't have enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do, much less that which I have to do.

For example, today I have to work on the chapter my critique group went over last night.

I was just sent a batch of short stories to judge for a contest and that has to be done by mid-April.

My work-in-progress needs attention.

I have laundry to do.

I know I have a big project coming that I'll be paid for. I suspect most of the information will arrive today.

I had this blog to write because I'm committed to writing a blog every day. Of course that commitment is just between me and everyone who reads my blog.

Somewhere in all this today, I want to watch Survivor on the computer as I wasn't home to watch it on TV.  Maybe tonight, since there's nothing on that I really like.

To be honest, I'm not much good for brain work after dinner.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
