Despite nightmare all went well!

Why is it so hard to find the entrance to the hotel part of the Orleans Hotel? We had trouble last year too. From then on it was easy.

We registered and got our room key. Interesting, we don't have a number on our room. Found it by process of elimination.

Went to the convention center and the registration table was right there. Hubby and I put out name tags and people started coming. So much fun seeing everyone.

Good food and conversation at the party tho hubby and I faded fast.

Loking forward to tomorrow.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
