9/11 Thoughts

Today we'll all be remembering what happened on 9/11 at the Twin Towers, in the Pennsylvania countryside and the Pentagon. We'll be thinking about all the lives lost on the terrible day.

No matter how tough things may get in our own personal lives, this is a good time to consider how much worse it was for all those who lost their lives and the families and friends who mourn them and miss them.

This is a time when each one of us should tell our family and friends how much we love them because we never know when they could disappear from our lives.

I've been blessed to have a wonderful family and many dear friends and I thank God for each and everyone of them.

For the 10th Anniversary I woke up early and made sure to listen to every single name read at the memorial in NYC. For me they are far more than a number...they have a name, a face, a story, and now a legacy. You will never ever be forgetten.
My heart breaks for all those lost, but there is peace knowing you are in a better place watching over your loved ones.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
