Next Up in the Way of Promo for Me
The month of October I'll be busy with my Virtual Book Tour. Whenever I'm on a virtual tour I always promote each day's blog in as many places as possible and I always visit myself more than once to see who has left comments.
Like I did a couple of times before, the person who leaves a comment on the most blogs can have a character in my next book be named after him or her. The person can choose whether they want to be in a Rocky Bluff P.D. crime novel or a Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery.
Blog tours are fun but also a lot of work.
Saturday, October 8th from 1-4 will be my official book launch at Books Off Main, Oak St., Porterville, right behind Subway. And there'll be refreshments.
The following weekend is the Apple Festival in Springville, Saturday October 15 and Sunday October 16. I'll be there all day, both days in booth number 345. (I have no idea where that will be, but maps are always handed out at the event.)
On Saturday, October 22, I'll be on a panel with other mystery writers, at the Gillis Library in Sanger at 2 p.m.
Hubby and I are going on a cruise to celebrate our 60 years of marriage--and yes, I'll be promoting. Some other mystery writers will be along and we definitely will get together to share ideas. Plus I'm going to take lots of cards to hand out to anyone I see reading on a Kindle.
On Saturday November 12th we'll be in San Luis Obispo at the main library celebrating Sisters in Crime's 25th birthday with the Central Coast Sisters in Crime. It's from 11 to 3.
That's all I have through the rest of the this year--so far.
