T'was the Day Before Christmas

And because it is the day before Christmas and I'm sure you are all busy with plans for Christmas Eve and tomorrow, I'm not going to write much.

At this point, I have no idea if I'm having any company tonight or not. I bought what I call snick snacks just in case: cheeses, deli meat, crackers, dip, chips and pies. Enough to fill any bellies that might cross our door.

Tomorrow will be totally different--teaching Sunday School and attending church, then rushing home to put dinner together for my family who will be coming after church.

So, all I'm going to say right now is have a wonderful Christmas Eve and the Merriest of Christmases.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
