So Busy I forgot My Own Blog

I've been so busy writing blog posts for my own blog tour for No Bells, I forgot all about my own blog.

Trying to write something new for this blog is challenging, but not nearly as challenging as trying to come up with something different for each of nearly 30 posts that will also at least tickle someone's curiosity to read No Bells.

Every authors writes their book with the expectation that someone is going to read it--and hopefully like it, and then tell someone about it. That's how books become popular.

Hopefully, after reading all the wonderful, imaginative posts I've written for my tour, people will rush to online bookstores and buy the book either in paper or as an e-book. Wishful thinking, but when I write any book, I'm not doing it for myself--I'm writing for a reader to enjoy.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
