Absolutely Amazing 2nd Day of PSWA Con.

Such a great day!

We learned about money laundering, science in fiction, how cozy writers and other genre fiction authors use public safety officers in their fiction.

We learned about crime scenes and also misconceptions about profiling. We heard all about self-publishing on Kindle and Nook.

There was more and when I ge home I'll post in far more detail. Right now my notes are still in ths conference room.

Tomorrow we'll be finding out about the crime scene.

Have loved visiting with everyone.

I can't believe it's nearly over.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
