Yes, the latest Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery is now available!

Here's the blurb:

Deputy Tempe Crabtree and her husband answer the call for help with unruly guests visiting a closed summer camp during a huge snow storm and are trapped there along with the others. One is a murderer.

Now comes the rest of the work--promoting the book.

Time to order my copies of the books and business cards with the cover on it.

I need to let Barnes and Nobel  in Bakersfield know that it can be ordered from the publisher, Mundania Press, because I have a book signing scheduled there on September 9th at 2 p.m.

I have some other in-person events too--Branches and Books in Oakhurst on September 23, from 1-3.

And once again I'm headed to Manteca for the Great Valley Bookfest on October 14, from 10 to 4.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
