Greger, and physician and death scene investigator, Gloria Casale, take you beyond “Arsenic and Old Lace” to show you the ins and outs of committing murder. A mystery writer has so many choices when plotting a FICTIONAL murder—an acute or chronic poisoning, the health of the victim, the availability of the poison, and the list goes on, so hear about it from two ladies who literally know how to get away with murder.

First Hand Looks at the Las Vegas Shooting Incident

It was the worst mass murder in American history… Anthony Robone, a young firefighter in Las Vegas was attending the Route 91 concert with his brother and friends when the terror suddenly began. Finding himself in the midst of chaos as the crowd came under fire, Anthony’s brother was shot in the chest. After providing medical assistance to his brother and others, Anthony helped some  of the victims escape the killing zone.

In the days that followed, the PSWA’s own Keith Bettinger was on scene for many days afterward providing assistance and supplies to the first responders who were tasked with guarding an immense, outdoor and indoor crime scene. These two men will give you the perspective of what it was like to be on the ground in Las Vegas at the scene of one of the worst shootings in the history of our nation.

The Art of Self-Editing

All manuscripts should be professionally edited before being sent to an agent/publisher, or being independently published. But, there are important, essential steps you need to take before sending your manuscript off. Award winning author, poet, writing instructor, and freelance editor, Susan Tuttle, will show you how self-editing will get your manuscript ready for that professional, and probably save you money in the end because they’ll have less to fix. And it will help make your story even better.

These aren't up on the website yet, but will be soon. This conference is going to be spectacular. Get signed up now.
