Moving Right Along by Marilyn Meredith

Despite not knowing when my next Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery will be available, I'm still signing up for book fairs and speaking engagements. I have plenty of books to promote and sell, but it would be nice to have my new one.

In a two day span, I attended a friend's funeral, and a 100th birthday celebration for another friend.

Here in Springville, we've had tons of rain, the river is overflowing it's banks--and it's a great change from years of drought. 

My grandchildren continue to bring me great joy--I have adult grands  and great grands and little ones too. I am truly blessed.

I can't decide whether or not I should sign up for Bouchercon 2020. It is close enough to drive or ride the train, but not sure about all the walking around. I need to decide soon.

I've gone to my San Joaquin Sisters in Crime meetings, have had to miss the Visalia Kings writers because of other events. 

And our writers' critique group is back on track.

So for the time being, life is moving right along.

Meet Morgen Bailey from the UK

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. So here goes with my battery of questions. First, tell me something about your background, including where you live. Thank you Marilyn. I live in Middle England really; Northampton. About as far away from water as you can get (3 hours) which I don’t quite understand as I love water; every picture (actually subconsciously until a friend pointed it out) in my house contains water. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
