New Revised Version of Deadly Omen now Available
























Deadly Omen was the first in the Deputy Tempe Crabtree series to be published. It's listed as #1.

I've always loved this story because of the connection with a Pow Wow. I attended a Pow Wow with the official photographer, a good friend, and learned so much. It was an amazing and beautiful experience.

One of the local Indians called me and told me I'd gotten all the Pow Wow parts rights--a most wonderful affirmation. Of course the rest is fiction, as are all the characters.

This is now the third edition of this book, and it's seeing new life because of Lorna and Larry Collins.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special.
