First Book Signing for Spirit Wind

Yes, I know, I'm a bit slow getting things done about my book.

But finally, I will be having my first signing on Saturday, June 8th from 11 to 3.

It will be at Stafford's Chocolates, 114 North Main St., in Porterville. What a great place! The chocolate is made right there and excellent. They also have specialty drinks.

Do mark the day on your calendar. I'll also have a few of the other books in my series with me for readers to peruse.

Pass the word, and come out and say "hi."

Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
