And the New Year is Off and Running!

At least that's what it feel like to me!

I started off with our New Year's Day celebration which was wonderful--good food shared with relatives and our annual Estimation Game. Fun!

The 2020 calendar is filling up fast! And yes, that's a good thing.

Started off with the San Joaquin chapter of Sisters in Crime, then meeting with old friends, and a visit with a friends who is getting ready for a year's travel in the British Isles and writing. 

I've enjoyed having one of my series being self-pubbed, because I can check which of my promotions have resulted in sales.  I can see when someone has decide to purchase the books in the order they were written.

Nothing has been huge as far as promotion is concerned, but every little bit helps.

And of course, I'm still working on the next in the Deputy Tempe Crabtree series. 

For anyone interested, #0 in the series, which is the one that really comes first is Deadly Trail.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
