TANGLED WEBS, too many untruths and suspects



This one had its beginnings in my memories as a pre-school teacher. It was fun to build on what I remembered, though the story and the characters are strictly from my imagination.

There is a lot of fabrications going on in this tale.

And yes, Officer Gordon Butler, now married, is back and he's the training officer for a new hire.

Detective Doug Milligan's teen daughter, Beth, has a big secret, and when she goes missing, finding her is Doug's priority.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
