The murder of the mother and son plus the teens buying and taking synthetic drugs both came from articles in police magazines. Of course, reading the articles gave me ideas of what could happen in Rocky Bluff and I was off and writing like mad.

And for those who care for Officer Gordon Butler, he's a true hero in this tale. 

Of course there's a lot going on in all the regular characters' lives, and always. 

This book received  15 five star reviews. I do hope some of you will take the time to read it.

Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
