Knowing, the movie

We went to see Knowing starring Nicolas Cage last week. Hadn't been to the movies for quite awhile.

If you aren't familiar with the Bible, you'll probably think the movie is science fiction complete with aliens. However, it is far, far more.

The movie is laden with religious clues from the mention of Ezekiel, the book of the Bible that is loaded with prophecy.

I suggest you pay close attention as the movie comes to its climax. I can't say much more without spoiling the story, but what you might think are aliens are revealed to be something far more remarkable.

In any case, we loved the movie.

Am always intrigued with Biblical prophecy. Spent small group time last week discussing this very subject. Thanks for your comment on Henry J. Grandmas ALWAYS think their grands are SO CUTE! Nice to have your endorsement also.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it.
