Wishing Everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Tomorrow

Tomorrow I'll be busy getting my turkey in the oven and doing all the many things it takes to get a big Thanksgiving dinner on the table for my family and anyone else they might bring with them. Do check my blog tomorrow because I have more about the big Mystery We Write book tour that begins on November 25th. Fourteen mystery writers are going to be on one of the fourteen's blog for each of the next 14 days.

I'm wishing each and everyone of you a wonderful holiday. Enjoy your family and think about everything you'r thankful for.

I'm thankful for living in a country like ours (the U.S. for those who are elsewhere), for having such a great family, for my marriage to a wonderful man for all these years, for all the adventures I've had and the memories. I also am thankful for the invention of computers which changed my writing life and the Internet which has given me so many more friends.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special.
