Everyone is writing something: pieces for online law enforcment publications, articles for printed magazine, how-to pieces, curriculum, all sorts of books fiction and non-fiction.

We had a couple of late registrants, and I don't have any information about their backgrounds.

This should give you an idea of the great expertise we are allowed to hear from.

As a mystery writer, I consider it a great privilege to be accepted into this group.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special.
